A Story About a Brave Boy, Azraai

The day was neither too warm nor too cold. It was the perfect day for a picnic. Azraai and his family were very excited as they have been waiting for that day since last month. As they reached the beach, his mother Puan Zaipah, quickly laid out the picnic mat on the soft sand under a big  shady tree.

Azraai and his brother Ariff, decided to go swimming as the crystal clear blue water looked very inviting. The water was very refreshing. Feeling tired, Azraai rested himself by the seaside. He enjoyed the breathtaking moment by watching the beach's view.

Then, Azraai and his family had their mouth-watering home-made meal. While enjoying their meals by the edge of the sea, they could see the gentle waves rolled endlessly towards the white sparkling beaches. They were mesmerized by the view in front of them.

Suddenly, Azraai heard someone shouting for help,"help! help!". He looked around to find where it was from. As he was turning at the beach, something caught his eyes. He could see someone struggling in the middle of the sea. Without hesitation, he jumped into the sea. When he reached there, he saw it was a girl. He quickly saved the girl as he saw that the girl was going unconscious.

Luckily, Azraai managed to save that girl. The girl was about his age and what made him so suprised was, the girl is his classmate. The girl's parents who watched the incident, immediately helped him to pull their daughter towards the shore. Azraai's father also helped them by calling an ambulance.

After 15 minutes waiting, the ambulance came and took the girl. Fotunately, the girl regained her consciousness and was okay after a few minutes. The girl's parents were very thankful to Azraai for his bravery action to save their daughter from drowning. They even cried tears of joy. The girl's father then caught hold of Azraai's hand and thanked him profusely for saving his child's life. It was a memorable experience for Azraai.
